Contribution of the project TTE@40 is to:
  • Develop a multilingual, culturally adapted, internet-based training programme which meets the needs of older technology-oriented entrepreneurs with the support of Social Partners and business and finance companies.

  • A specialised training programme which offers competence assessment, skills development and knowledge acquisition thereby strengthening the capacity of start-ups to absorb technology as a traditional pillar of innovation policy.

  • Develop skills to apply and transfer and knowledge and good practice

  • Encourage risk taking and  strengthen spirit of Entrepreneurship

  • Set-up award scheme to recognise successful and innovative mid-career entrepreneurs.

  • Promote, publicise and disseminate the rewards and opportunities of Entrepreneurship to the target audience.

  • Strengthen and exploit links between public and private entities especially in the area of finance and to promote innovation.

  • Continually evaluate and monitor to ensure that all actions really meet the needs of the target audience.

  • Encourage mentoring of SMEs by large companies.

  • Iincrease co-operation between the government, universities, research institutes and the business community to promote an culture of innovation

  • strengthen the development of business support  organisations and increase their viability

  • Organise an International Enterprise Day –  for EU and candidate countries.
